Tribal Health Services

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation contracts with the federal government Indian Health Services to provide the following services to our eligible Native American population:

Holistic, primary care services are offered by appointment and include comprehensive physicals, diagnostic laboratory services, immunizations and ambulatory care services. Tribal Health Services also provides identification and coordination of care for specialty needs. Services include…

• Diabetes education and management
• Nutrition and lifestyle counseling
• Health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
• Comprehensive behavioral health, alcohol and substance abuse assessment and screening, counseling, outreach and crisis management
• Support Services, including administration, medical records management, case management and social services coordination
• Contract Health Services for eligible clients, including identification and access to alternate resources and processing referrals and payments to contract health providers
