  • Education For All: At every stage of life, education opens doors. That’s why we’re committed to supporting learning opportunities for everyone, from the very first steps in early childhood through advanced degrees, career-ready certifications and beyond. Our experienced Team Members are dedicated to helping families instill a lifelong passion for learning.  We can help you research and visit potential schools, apply and enroll in schools, and experience academic success while in your chosen school!
  • Child Development Center: Our childcare facility is state-of-the-art and is run by Bright Horizons, a high-quality school system trusted by parents and organizations around the world. With a focus on academic readiness, socio-emotional learning, executive functioning, purposeful play, discovery and most importantly, the cultural values of MPTN, the CDC reports up to the Education Department and is the pride and joy of the community!
  • Tutoring: Whether you prefer 1:1 tutoring or you’d like group homework help, we’ve got you covered! Tutors are available to students of all ages.
  • Behavior Intervention: We work to promote positive behavior and improve student outcomes through evidence-based strategies, inclusive practices, and collaborative support. Our main goal is to help students develop positive behaviors and reduce behaviors that may be disruptive or unsafe. At MPTN, our Behavior Interventionist can work directly with school-age students, families, and even educators to help students learn better ways to cope, behave, and succeed – both in school and in life. Our interventionist also provides preventative supports to help families before behaviors occur! These supports include but are not limited to; establishment of routines, information about the impacts of trauma, goal setting, coping skills, and more.
  • Special Education: We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive – academically, emotionally, and socially. Navigating the world of special education can feel overwhelming – but you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll work to build a brighter, more inclusive educational journey, one step at a time. Our special education advocate supports families by helping them understand their rights and navigate the special education process. Advocates work closely with parents and schools to ensure students receive the appropriate services, supports, and individualized education plans (IEPs) they need to succeed. The goal is to empower families with knowledge, promote collaboration, and ensure every child has access to a fair and effective education.
  • Curriculum & Trainings for Educators: The Education Department is responsible for creating lesson plans and professional development for teachers across the United States. We run the Pequot Neepun Teacher Institute in partnership with the Pequot Museum and produce curriculum for Connecticut teachers.
