PGA Professional Ben Mackey Appointed General Manager of Lake of Isles

March 25, 2025 (Mashantucket, Conn.) – The beautiful Lake of Isles golf club in North Stonington, Connecticut, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Mackey as the club’s new General Manager.

Ben is a Class A PGA Professional, a graduate of Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and has over 10 years of experience in the golf industry.

Throughout his career, Ben has had the privilege of working at several golf properties, including Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Wisconsin, a high-end private club. His journey continued in corporate business development with Troon, where he contributed to the company’s growth and then managed multiple properties in the Northeast. Most recently, he served as Regional Manager, overseeing a portfolio of golf simulator facilities and restaurants across Connecticut and New York for the past six years
