(Mashantucket, Conn.): The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN) is pleased to announce MPTN Tribal Police Officer Anthony Holloman was named “Officer of the Year” on Friday, October 25, 2024, by Groton Lodge of Elks #2163 at the Lodge’s annual Law Enforcement Night, along with several other awardees representing the local area. The award was given in recognition and appreciation for Officer Holloman’s dedicated and outstanding service to the Lodge and the greater community.
“The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Police Department ranks among the best of law enforcement personnel in the region, and we couldn’t be prouder to have one of our own selected for this distinguished honor,” said Rodney Butler, Chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. “Congratulations to Officer Holloman for a job well done in helping to maintain safety and security for our tribal community and beyond.”
